Tobias Alexander Ratka is a multi award-winning composer from Vienna, Austria.
He previously composed for commonly known clients, such as IKEA, Kelly's, Münze Österreich and Fridays For Future.
He started composing at the age of seven and has been learning mostly on his own. He annually participates in workshops, where he's being taught by hollywood composers like Joe Kraemer (Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation), John Lunn (Downton Abbey, The White Queen) and T.J. Lindgren (additional music: Dumbo, Justice League, Avengers: Age of Ultron).
In 2017, Tobias won Second Runner-Up at the Marvin Hamlisch Film Scoring Contest. In 2019, he won "Best Score" at the Los Angeles Film Awards, "Best Original Score" at the New York Movie Awards and received an honourable mention in the category of "Best Soundtrack" at the Oniros Film Awards.
Since 2019, Tobias is under contract at the music production company: Atom Music Audio.
In 2020, Tobias composed "The World" together with Fiona Parilon. He also directed and produced the music video. The project is dedicated to the protection of the environment and 50% of it's total income will be donated to environmental protection organisations.
In 2020, Tobias signed a contract with Austria's biggest broadcasting enterprise ORF and got to write the big intro main theme for UNIVERSUM - one of Austria's biggest television franchises.
